Happy Days update
The Easton Senior Happy Day Club met on Thursday, Aug. 22, for a potluck dinner with 13 members and one guest present. The guest, Jessie Faye, owner of the Faye Funeral Home in Presque Isle, spoke on his home’s services. He was very informative and answered several questions.
The groups’ next meeting will be Sept. 12. They will be having pizza from Country Farms Market. Two guests are planned for this meeting: Kimberly Sebold, a professor of history at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and Megan Pryor. They will be covering Easton’s sesquicentennial, which is coming in 2015. They will be looking for suggestions and ideas for the celebration.
On Sept. 26 there will be a fall trip to the Lakeview in St. Agatha. Easton seniors are invited to attend and bring a friend. The group hopes to see you at their meetings. This month they will be celebrating club member Ida Doaks’ birthday!
