On a beautiful sunny day 20 members and guests of the Oakfield Senior Citizens met for their last meeting in September. After enjoying the potluck luncheon Mr. Locke presided over the business meeting sharing that our Fall Trip will be on Oct. 12, leaving from the Community Center in Oakfield at 9 a.m.
The treasurer’s report and card reports were read and accepted. Delores Locke announced that the Houlton Senior Citizen Club had invited us to join them on Tuesday Sept. 24, for a spaghetti luncheon. Everyone is looking forward to this event.
George Barrow was the 50/50 winner. Our next meeting will be on Oct. 3. Come and join us, make new friends and enjoy a great meal.
Mr. Locke also announced that we would have an auction in November, so be sure to gather up some things that you would like to donate for the fund-raising effort.
