At left, David Donovan raises the new flag at the Grimes Mill Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 20. Saluting the new flag, which has flown over the White House, were, from left, Doug Michaud, Pete Meisburger, Phil McDonough, Caribou’s State Representative Carol McElwee and Ken Doody, who along with the help of Dana Doody and a handful of community members, arranged for the new flag to fly over the cemetery and honor the veterans resting there.
