FORT FAIRFIELD — A musical celebration will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. hosted by St. Paul’s Church in Fort Fairfield.
The Aroostook Episcopal Cluster Musicale, marking the recent acquisition of an Allen digital organ at St. Paul’s, features two fine organists: Dan Ladner, whose musical and theatrical talents are well known in Aroostook County, and Mike Starkey, who comes to The County from Toronto and who volunteers his considerable talents as St. Paul’s principal organist.

In addition to the music provided by Ladner and Starkey, choirs from Gray Memorial in Caribou and Grant Memorial in Presque Isle will each perform two or three selections under the direction of Margaret Cyr and Ladner respectively.
Other singers and musicians well known to music lovers in the area will also participate. “In addition to the gift of the Allen, we are acknowledging the blessings we all receive from the many dedicated musicians whose vocal and instrumental ministries enhance our Sunday worship, as well as our lives in settings beyond the churches we attend,” said Bob White of Caribou, one of the event’s organizers.
Following the musical program, there will be a light supper provided by members of each of the churches that make up the Aroostook Episcopal Cluster.
