Flint, Frank E., Jr., 49, October 25, 2013. Calling hours to be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Dunn Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church. A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m., November 10 at the Iyannough Golf Club, MA. HAMMOND, ME & CAPE COD, MA – Frank Edwin Flint Jr., 49, died Oct. 25, 2013, at a Boston Hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1964, at Milton, MA, the son of Frank Sr. and Janice (Oliver) Flint.
Frank was a graduate of Barnstable High School and Cape Cod Community College. He served in the US Army, was an accomplished chef, and worked with Mitchell’s Steak House for 25-plus years. Frank enjoyed an array of sports – sailing, skiing, golf and fishing, loved working on his LeMans car, and having BBQs with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother of Houlton; wife, Helen (Edwards) Flint of Hammond; two sons, David A. Flint of Houlton, ME and Edward A. Flint of Hammond; two daughters, Catherine L. Gilmore and husband, Robert III, of Houlton, and Elizabeth A. Flint of Hammond; five grandchildren, Robert, Frankie, Micah, Josephine and Brennan; two brothers, Thomas W. Flint and Robert A. Flint, both of MA; two sisters, Lynnette M. Connolly of NJ, and Lisa J. Hurley of MA; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with Rev. David Raymond, celebrant. Also, there will be a celebration of Frank’s life at 3 p.m. Nov. 10, 2013, at the Iyannough Golf Club, RT. #132, Hyannis, MA. Interment will be in the Caribou Veteran’s Cemetery.
