Veterans’ Day

11 – 11 – 13

Remembering those who served

To the editor:
Veterans Day, November 11th is a time to remember all those men and women who have served and are serving our Country with honor and bravery. If not for their courage, we might never know the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you for serving this great country. Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for the security we have and feel here at home. We know you sacrificed much for your country and all of us. And though you may no longer wear the uniform, we know you’re always on call to serve and protect the freedom and security of the United States of America.
We support and honor the sacrifice of those who served by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. We invite everyone to pause today to remember those who have fought for our freedoms. Thank you to all who have so bravely protected us.
Please join American Legion, Henry B. Pratt, Jr. Post 15 and Caribou VFW members and their Auxiliaries for a ceremony at the Monument in front of the Caribou Fire Station on High Street in Caribou on November 11th at 11 a.m. as we honor our veterans. Coffee and donuts will be served at the Caribou VFW prior to and after the ceremony.
God bless our troops, God bless America.
