EASTON NEWS
by Hillary Hallett
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the staff and students of the Easton School Department will be honoring local veterans at the annual Veteran’s Day Celebration. Veterans are invited to be our guests for lunch at 12:30 p.m., with the assembly to follow.
As part of the ceremony, officials would like to recognize veterans in a PowerPoint presentation. If you have not sent a picture for our previous celebrations, please bring or send a picture to the elementary school office so that we may include you in this presentation. You will need to do this no later than Thursday, Nov. 7.
Also, to help our cooks prepare, we ask that all who plan to attend call the elementary school at 488-7701 to RSVP no later than Friday, Nov. 8, either for lunch and the assembly or just the assembly.
On behalf of the planning committee and the entire Easton School Department, we look forward to honoring our local veterans on the 12th of November.
