Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 0233, of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Nov. 15 meeting.
Leader Diane Folsom was in charge. Reports were given by Denise Clark and secretary Cheryl Driscoll.
Janette Nelson gave a monthly financial report. Attending were 12 TOPS and two KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). Margaret Hagerman was present; because of sickness she was absent for several months. She thanked everyone for their support during her time of need.
The skinny dish was held over and Diane won the 50/50 drawing. Loser of the week was Barbara Grant with runners-up Marsha Reed and Lois.
The Christmas party will be in Oakfield Friday, Dec. 6.
Barbara Whited read some facts on water, supplied by Lois. Charlotte Marley gave an in-depth report on the workshop she attended with several other members in Washburn Nov. 9. Charlotte supplied the program on Thanksgiving, giving thanks for everyday gifts as written by Barbara Cady, President of TOPS.
