Caribou Middle School October students of the month

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Middle School sixth-grade teachers, Mr. Pelletier, Mrs. Bouchard, Ms. Lajoie and Mrs. Rand, have announced that Haley Melanson has been named as a Student of the Month.

Melanson is a homeroom representative to the Student Organization. She participates in both band and chorus. Melanson was also recently chosen to be part of this year’s Show Choir. Her teachers say she is a pleasure to have in class and works hard on her academics.
The sixth-grade teachers have also chosen Jacob Berkoski as a Student of the Month.
Berkoski is very athletic and just finished participating on the CMS cross-country team. He will be playing basketball in the upcoming months on the CMS sixth- and seventh-grade basketball team. Berkoski’s teachers say he is a good friend to his peers and works very hard on his academics.
The seventh-grade staff at CMS has selected Brianna Reece as one of their October Students of the Month.
According to her teachers, Reece is an outstanding student, a respectful person and a kind friend to her peers. She sets goals for herself and works diligently to meet them. Reece’s hard work ethic and respectful attitude are what makes her a positive role model for her peers, according to her teachers.
The seventh-grade staff has also chosen Austin Findlen as an October Student of the Month.
According to his teachers, Findlen is an honest and hard-working student who maintains a solid academic standing. He is involved in extracurricular activities such as playing soccer and basketball for CMS. Findlen’s teachers say he is a student of great character.
The eighth grade staff at CMS has selected Jarred Jordan as an October Student of the Month.
Jordan was chosen because of his positive attitude toward schoolwork, classes, teachers and classmates. Jordan is a very well respected member of his class because of his exceptional attitude. Jordan’s teachers say he is always willing to help out a fellow classmate or a teacher, often without even being asked. They believe Jordan is a great example for all at CMS with his outstanding work ethic and treatment of others and is a true role model.
The eighth grade staff has also chosen Hallie Caron as an October Student of the Month.
Caron is involved in Girl Scouts and enjoys hanging out with her friends. She plays on the girls’ basketball team and is an excellent member of the school community. Caron often helps her fellow classmates and her teachers say she is a solid school citizen. According to her teachers, Caron had set a goal this year of being named as Student of the Month. Mission accomplished!
