fs-crime-dcx-ar-47    STOCKHOLM — State Police said that as of Tuesday afternoon, a young man from Stockholm remains in jail after his arrest on child sexual abuse charges.
Benjamin Rossignol, 21, is being held at the Aroostook County Jail on $10,000 bail following his arrest earlier this month.

The victim was a one-month-old girl.
The State Police Computer Crimes Unit, along with federal investigators from Homeland Security, arrested Rossignol and charged him with sexual exploitation of a minor, dissemination of sexual explicit material, possession of sexual explicit materials, and unlawful sexual contact.
Investigators stated that Rossignol took graphic photos of the baby and posted them on the Internet; the images were discovered by federal investigators who then contacted the Computer Crimes Unit.
Rossignol was arrested on Nov. 8 at his home in Stockholm.
He made his first appearance in court last week and his case was continued to Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Police say that should Rossignol make bail, he will not be allowed to have any unsupervised contact with children under age 16.
