The eighth-grade Viking boys’ basketball team downed Fort Kent and Houlton last week to improve to 3-0.
In the 57-25 victory over Fort Kent last Wednesday, Caribou charged out to the early lead and was never challenged. Nick Allen’s 18 points led the way, with Matt Nadeau and Dawson Hebert posting 11 and seven, respectively. Evan Desmond and Noah Rosado netted six each and Hunter Jackson had a strong defensive performance.
Against Houlton Saturday, Allen notched 23 points and Nadeau scored 14 more as the Vikes won, 62-57. Brandon Manter and Bailey Griffeth netted eight and seven, respectively.
