Book fair to be held at PIMS library

PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Middle School Library will be holding its annual book fair through Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The book fair will be held before school, during study hall and during Parent-Teacher Conferences when two Presque Isle High School students will volunteer their time assisting with the event.
“This is a great opportunity to get books in the hands of students — their copies of books they will enjoy — and to reach the goal of selling more than $2,000 of book fair items to purchase iPads minis for sixth graders,” said Gail Hagelstein, library/media specialist at PIMS. “Anything over $2,000 we get to keep one-fourth in cash, which is great.”
The book fair also provides parents and grandparents the chance to do some Christmas shopping.
