Region Two CTE Adult Education will begin a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) course on Dec. 11. Successful completion of the course will qualify individuals for a Maine-issued certificate that can be presented to agencies who are seeking employees in this field.
This 50-hour course consists of personal care studies and practical lab experiences.
The course will meet from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for eight class sessions at the Region Two building on Bird Street in Houlton. The instructor is Becky Russell R.N., and the course fee is $250.
