    PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The following cases were heard in the District Court in Presque Isle during the month of September.

    Scott Shepard, 43, Deerfield, N.H., fishing violation of number, amount, weight or size, $100 fine.
    Ralph F. Simard, Jr., 25, Presque Isle: sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
    David Sloan, 32, Presque Isle: assault and criminal threatening, dismissed (each).
    Yolanda M. Smith, 24, Mars Hill: motor vehicle speeding 30-plus mph over speed limit, $400 fine and 30-day license suspension.
    Craig L. Stevens, 44, Ashland: violating protective order, 96 hours in jail.
    Bradley Dean Summerlin, 33, Presque Isle: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $1,000 fine and three months in jail.
    Keith Irving Tingley, III, 28, Presque Isle: failing to provide correct name, address, date of birth, $200 fine; and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
    Jessica N. Turner, 29, Presque Isle: possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $350 fine.
    Lance A. Vangel, 50, Blaine: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $400 fine.
    Robert A. Vanhouten, 32, Presque Isle: domestic violence assault, dismissed.
    Carrie R. Veinote, 31, Presque Isle: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $200 fine.
    Stephen J. Vicino, 47, Avon, Conn.: allowing minor to operate ATV in violation, $100 fine.
    Tyler G. Vrieze, 19, Presque Isle: minor consuming liquor, $200 fine.
    Paul A. Wasson, 22, Presque Isle: kindling fire without permission, $150 fine.
    Jessie White, 35, Presque Isle: violating protective order, $250 fine and 72 hours in jail.
    Patrick White, 36, Perham: assault and theft of services, dismissed (each); disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise and violating condition of release (two counts), 30 days in jail (each).
