PTO to sponsor Santa’s Workshop
PRESQUE ISLE — Santa’s Workshop, sponsored by the Presque Isle Elementary PTO, will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (or until supplies run out) at Pine Street Elementary School.
Santa’s Workshop is a chance for children through fifth grade to purchase gifts. There are more than 1,000 new items this year. Children will be able to select from gift items priced from 50 cents to $3. They can also have all their gifts wrapped on site for free.
Chaperones will help the kids shop, while parents can check out the items up for raffle and enjoy the homemade goodies at the bake sale. Items for sale will include chili, hot dogs, a variety of baked goods and cookies, as well as hot chocolate and coffee.
Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras as Santa will be on hand to pose for pictures and find out what’s on everyone’s wish list.
