PRESQUE ISLE — Currier & Trask, P.A. with offices in Presque Isle and Houlton, has been honored by US News & World Report and Best Lawyers as a “Best Law Firm” for 2014. Currier & Trask was named a Tier I Law Firm in two practice areas.
The firm is comprised of six attorneys practicing at Currier & Trask, P.A. in Presque Isle and Currier, Trask and Jordan in Houlton: Richard L. Currier, Norman G. Trask, Philip K. Jordan, James M. Dunleavy, Jon P. Plourde and Jessica R. Currier.
In a Nov. 1 press release, officials with US News-Best Lawyers® explained that “firms included in the 2014 ‘Best Law Firm’ list are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Achieving a tiered ranking signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.”
The 2014 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client ballots on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the United States. Attorney Trask was recognized in the Best Lawyers in America in 2013 and 2014 in the practice areas of personal injury litigation (plaintiff) and workers’ compensation law (injured workers).
