Katahdin Trust announces promotions
HOULTON — Katahdin Trust Company has announced the following promotions within its organization.
Susan Lunn
She has been promoted to vice president/compliance officer while Katie Hill has been named assistant vice president/bank operations manager; and Sarah Silliboy has been named assistant vice president/electronic banking manager.
“These individuals play a vital role in the key to our success and have demonstrated a strong commitment to the values that make us successful,” said Jon Prescott, president and CEO of Katahdin Trust Company.
With over 30 years experience in the financial services industry, Lunn has held a range of positions including head teller, customer service representative, proof operator and a variety of positions in the Operations Department.
She joined Katahdin Trust Company in 1998, was promoted to operations officer in 1999 and a year later to assistant vice president/bank operations. For the past eight years, she has served as vice president/bank operations.
In her new position, Lunn will be responsible for overseeing the compliance risk management program as well as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to ensure adherence with regulatory requirements.
Lunn attended the Fort Fairfield school system, attained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and acquired her teaching certificate from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Additionally, she has completed several diplomas through the American Institute of Banking, and has attended various banking seminars.
Lunn resides in Hodgdon and is a member of the Hodgdon United Baptist Church, where she assists with Kids in Christ’s Service (KICS) and serves in other various positions.
Katie Hill
She joined Katahdin Trust Company in 2003 and has served in multiple positions at the Bank’s Houlton Branch including teller, branch service representative and customer service representative. In 2012, she joined the operations department as operations supervisor. In her new position, she will oversee all bank operations for deposits and loans.
A graduate of Houlton High School, Hill earned her general banking diploma and supervisor certificate from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training and attended the Northern New England School of Banking in Durham, N.H. and the Young Professionals Institute in Presque Isle. Hill and her husband Graig reside in Littleton.
Sarah Silliboy
She joined the bank in 2003 as proof/computer operator. She was named operations clerk in 2005, electronic banking clerk in 2006, electronic banking specialist in 2009, and has served as supervisor of the electronic banking department since 2011. In her new position, she will oversee all areas of electronic banking.
A graduate of Houlton High School, Silliboy attained her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She has also received her general banking diploma, bank operations diploma and supervisor certificate from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training. Silliboy resides in Hodgdon with her husband Ron and daughter, Mariah.
