This doe was spotted just off the edge of the lawn of Houlton Pioneer Times reader Patty Jennings in Stacyville. This deer, along with another, were
digging for apples that had fallen from the trees earlier this fall, but had become buried in the snow during the Dec. 15 storm that dumped a foot of snow in Aroostook County.
