A COLD WINTER RIDE
During a holiday trip home from Pennsylvania to visit family in Easton, Chris Gray saw Amish buggies and wagons traveling around town.
On the return trip Dec. 27, Chris snapped this pic of an Amish buggy on a cold (6 below zero) morning on the Gray Road in Easton. There were actually children under the tarp in the back of the buggy. In the distance is Mars Hill Mountain, pictured above the frost-covered treeline. Temperatures got steadily colder with the arrival of the first week of the New Year, with figures in the -30 and below in some areas.
