Zara-Anne Ellen Farrar and Matthew Joseph Plocinski are pleased to announce their engagement.
Zara is the daughter of Stephen and Bernadette Farrar of Houlton, Maine. Matthew is the son of Joseph and Lisa Plocinski of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
The future bride is a 2013 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in International Business and Logistics. She is currently employed as an ensign in the United States Navy. The future groom is completing his Marine Systems Engineering degree at Maine Maritime Academy and will be joining the United States Navy upon graduation.
A wedding in Castine, Maine, is planned for October 11, 2014.
