Officials with the Next Generation Foundation have announced the launch of their new large grants program. Grants will be available to organizations with nonprofit status (or a nonprofit sponsor) for the purpose of capital improvements, creating or building endowment, adding or enlarging programs, or increasing scale. The geographic area to be served is Maine.
The mission of the Foundation, based in Blue Hill, is to improve the health, education, and societal support for the most vulnerable populations of Maine.
Organizations interested in applying to Next Generation’s new large grant program must submit a two-page Letter of Inquiry by March 1, 2014.
