Chapter 0233 of Take Off Pounds Sensibly met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, Feb. 7 meeting. Thirteen ladies were present; three were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
Leader Diane Folsom had charge of the meeting. Treasurer Janette Nelson gave a financial report. Acting secretary Charlotte Marley and weight recorder Mildred Gagnon also gave reports.
Loser of the week was Barbara Troy with Betty Wyman runner-up. The skinny dish went to Denise Clark and Diane won the 50/50 drawing. Diane read important letters to the chapter and comments were given.
A person named “Challenger” gave a talk on the recent contest called a challenge and then presented Marsha Reed with a TOPS case having lost the most during the challenge period.
Charlotte Marley continued her project from last week. She gave a list of food items to each person and then drilled us on whether it was a starch or whatever. She continued with a list of questions, each member reading one. It was a fun time and we all enjoyed it.
