The first-ever WHOU All-County Team has been announced. The station staff had the chance to stream more than 90 games this season and to see some talented players.
Players have been selected to the WHOU teams based on the votes of more than 50 officials, athletic directors, coaches media and basketball enthusiasts.
Making the WHOU Girls Team are: Parise Rossignol and Felicia Bouchard, Van Buren; Carmen Bragg and McKenzie Worcester, Washburn; Hannah Graham and Krystal Kingsbury, Presque Isle; Sable Altvater, Southern Aroostook; Chelsey Pelkey, Limestone/MSSM; Katie Condon and Natalie Hill, Houlton.
Receiving Honorable mention are Taylor Williams, Presque Isle; Rylee Warman, GHCA; Whitney McNamme, Fort Fairfield; Kalie Ward, Easton; Jessy Dickison, Houlton and Morgan Livezey, Katahdin.
The WHOU Boys Team are: Nick Guiod and Kyle Bouchard, Houlton; Chris Hudson, Hodgdon; Bradley Shields, Presque Isle; Hunter Turner, Easton; Jackson Mathers, Southern Aroostook; Jacob Rioux, Van Buren; Cameron Bragg, Washburn; Dayne Savage and Cody Herbert, Caribou.
Honorable mention goes to Jarrett Olson, Washburn; Chandler Brewer, Central Aroostook; Derek Richardson, Caribou; Cody Plourde, Fort Kent; and Nate Boynton, Wisdom.
