A “Stew Night” benefitting the Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp program will be held Friday evening, Feb. 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Clubhouse. Attendees will receive a bowl of chicken stew, beef stew, autumn soup, taco soup, mild chili, or macaroni and cheese along with a roll, drink and dessert for $6. A grilled cheese sandwich or hot dog may also be purchased for an additional dollar.

The Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp program is a leadership development and drug prevention program of Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc., and has been serving Aroostook County teens in grades 6-8 since 1987. Teens can attend a five-day residential summer camp program held at Northern Maine Community College to learn leadership skills, and then have opportunities to develop these skills by participating in follow-up activities during the school year. Registration forms for this summer’s camp, which will be held from July 27-July 31, will be available in schools in mid-March. For further information, please call 498-6431.
