Loring Defenders serve as color guard, meet Gov. LePage

    On Feb. 8, members of the Loring Job Corps Honor Guard provided the color guard for the Lincoln Dinner held at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center; they presented the national and state colors for the event, of which Governor Paul LePage was the guest speaker.

bs-job-corps-dcx1-ar-10In addition to posting the colors for the opening ceremony, the students had the opportunity to speak with the Governor after the event and take a photo with him. Sergeant Major Roger Felix, commander of the Loring Honor Guard, said that the students represented their center with a sharp military drill and the attention to detail they’re known for throughout New England.
