McGill’s Community Band practice will begin on Monday, March 10 in the Houlton High School music room from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
McGill’s welcomes back all of the previous members and invites anyone else who would like to join this group.
All that is needed is a few years of instrument experience and the desire to join a fun group of musicians for a wonderful summer concert season. Practices are held each Monday night until the season begins in June. Concerts are then held each Thursday night in Monument Park in the amphitheater.
The new band director, Kevin Mania, is excited to begin his first year with the band.
