Fond memories of Easton church
To the editor:
As I read the Feb. 26 edition of the Star-Herald there was a “new song” in my heart. As I studied the picture and read the article of the New Song Church opening in Easton, tears rolled down my cheeks.
I was thinking of the many times I had been there and other things about the old church. My wife Darla and I were married there Sept. 23, 1978 and attended many great services and spent many great times in the spirit of the Lord. We held many offices in leadership with much hope and faith.
We now want to congratulate the Lambs for the great steps they have taken to open the New Song Church. What a great journey they have had and will continue to have in the future. I sure wish we could be there for the open house, but will not be back from Florida in time for that great resurrection of an old song to a new song. May God’s great blessings be with the Lambs and the congregation.
