SCARBOROUGH & NEW SWEDEN – Wilma Jacobs, 94, passed away on March 6, 2014, at a health care facility in Scarborough. She was born on February 19, 1920, in New Sweden, the daughter of William and Edith (Thenser) Bengtson.
Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved painting and doing other arts and crafts. She was also a member of the Gustav-Adolf Lutheran Church in New Sweden.
She is survived by her son Marvin Jacobs of Belmont, a daughter Cynthia Lockwood and her husband Doug of East Boothbay and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Wilma is predeceased by her husband Hollis Jacobs and brother William Bengtson.
Family and friends may call 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev.
