HOULTON — Chris Anderson, president of the F.A. Peabody Company, announced Thursday that Dawn Halkyard of the FAPCO Sherman office has been promoted to staff supervisor.

Halkyard has held her Maine State Property and Casualty Insurance License since 2008 and has been employed with the FAPCO since 2006. She has served in several roles for FAPCO, most recently as a commercial lines and personal lines customer service agent.
Halkyard has been an active member of the Insurance Association of Greater Houlton since 2007 and was named Insurance Woman of the Year in 2009. She has earned her ACSR, Accredited Customer Service Representative and CIIP, Certified Insurance Industry Professional designations. Currently, she is working on attaining her CISR Certified Insurance Service Representative designation and completing the Certified Leadership Program through IAIP.

Halkyard is excited about her new leadership position and is looking forward to the challenges it presents. She resides in Sherman with her husband, Eric.
