In collaboration with the Maine Red Claws, Maine McDonald’s and the Maine Association of Basketball, the Easton High School boys’ basketball team was presented the fourth annual Team of the Year award at the 2014 Maine McDonald’s All-Star banquet.

The boys were honored last week at the banquet in Bangor and received a $1,000 check to put towards their program. They will also be honored at a Red Claws’ basketball game in Portland this month.
The criteria used to select the winning teams included contribution to community, exemplifying sportsmanship, team competitiveness snf spirit, and commitment to academic excellence. The winning team(s) were chosen by coaches, parents, principals, community organizations and athletic directors.
Great job, gentleman, your community could not be more proud of you!
