PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), frequently known as fuel assistance, provides financial help to eligible low-income households by paying a portion of their winter heating bills. Appointments will continue to be scheduled through April 30 for those households that have not received a fuel assistance benefit this season.
Households wishing to schedule an appointment to complete a LIHEAP application or to obtain information about the program should call ACAP Community Services at 1-800-585-3053 or 768-3053.
