It was a hot Friday night and Gracie and I were having friends over! They were our cousins MaKenna and Felicity, and our aunt Amy. When they got here, we raced downstairs. We opened the door. Felicity and MaKenna came in.
Mom came downstairs, too. Then we went upstairs to the kitchen and living room. We made a fort. After we finished the fort, we ordered a pizza. Also, we made sundaes, mine had hot sauce on it. My sister’s had hot sauce, caramel, sprinkles, and chocolate chips.
Then we all decided it would be really fun if we painted our nails. We had many colors to use. We got out the nail polish.
I was excited to paint my nails. When I got to the basket, I saw green, yellow, pink, purple, red, blue, and orange. The color I picked was the one that Felicity wanted so we decided that we would paint each other’s nails.
So I picked blue and she picked a different blue to use. I started with her toenails.
Meanwhile Gracie and MaKenna were playing with dolls in the fort. Felicity and I were all done. Our toenails were blue and our fingernails were green.
When our moms walked in, they looked a little mad! There was nail polish everywhere! We said, “Sorry” and that we would clean it up.
After it was all cleaned up, we watched a movie and had a little treat. Then we went to bed. In the morning, we had muffins. Then it was time for them to go home. We said, “Bye,” and they left.
