CARIBOU — Maine deputy turned stand-up comedian Juston McKinney is bringing his hilarious “Deer, Moose, Ticks & Hicks” show to the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 5 at 7 p.m. In the show, Juston shares jokes and stories about living in and patrolling the Maine woods before turning in his badge and gun and leaving the dangerous streets of rural Maine for the peace and quiet of New York City.
While living in NYC, McKinney worked his way into the regular lineup at top comedy clubs on Broadway, and also toured as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: Next Generation with Bill Engvall. In 2000, the New York Times called him “destined for stardom.” McKinney has had numerous appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, two Comedy Central specials and movie credits that include “The Zoo Keeer” and “Here Comes the Boom.”
Advance tickets for the CPAC show are $15 and tickets at the door will be $20. Ticket outlets include Paradis Shop & Save, Sleepers, and Gulf On the Run/Caribou One Stop, Bradley’s Citgo, Graves Shop & Save, the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle, Tulsa in Van Buren and Paradis Shop & Save in both Madawaska and Fort Kent.
