HOULTON – Helen A. (Millett) Ladd, 87, died March 19, 2014, at a local health care facility. She was born September 27, 1926, at Lisbon Falls, the daughter of Carl and Nellie (Ackley) Millett.
Helen was a member of the Houlton Military Street Baptist Church and is survived by her children, Arnold and Marion Ladd of IL, Nelson Ladd of CT, Baree Ladd of Smyrna, and Nancy and Gary Tingley of New Limerick. Also Blaine and Debbie Nickerson of Houlton and Michael and Joni Nickerson of CT; eight grandchildren, Belinda, Richard, Michael, Garry, Karla, Gregory, Gerry and Gillian; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held for Helen at a later date. Those who wish may make gifts in her memory to the Madigan Estates Activity Fund or the charity of one’s choice, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
