An unusual deer hunt

One 2013 morning I went hunting for deer. It was a little cold but not too cold that it would stop me from going hunting. It was January. I did not know if something was going to come out of the trees so I walked as slowly as I could. I made it through the thick trees safely. Now I was in an open field looking for deer. I saw some doe but no buck … yet … but I was going to be there all day. I was getting hungry like a pig so I walked back through the thick trees. The branches hung like wires. They were like a thicket of pucker-brush. I heard a buck grunt so I stopped to see if I could see him but couldn’t see anything unless it was right in front of me. I made it to the truck. I got in the truck and went home to make a bologna sandwich and got me a cold pop from the cooler. I ate the food then fell asleep.
I heard a voice like noise calling, “Come and get me if you can get up.” I stood up as fast as I could, ran to the truck and drove off to the weird wood again. “OK let’s got that deer,” I said to myself. I saw some deer but not the one I wanted. I wanted the biggest buck in the woods and this one was too small. I would set and set until I saw the one I wanted. It came time for me to leave and I did. The next day I packed my lunch so I would not have to come back home and I could set all day calling deer. I called and called and saw some deer coming through the woods. Some bucks came … but not the one. It got so quiet, I heard something say, “I’m going to get you. I’m the boogie man.” Once I heard that voice I wanted to know where it could be coming from. Where could it? That is all I thought about the rest of the day hunting. It was dark so I said to myself, “I will sleep here tonight.” I fell asleep thinking about it.
