After we open presents is my favorite time at Christmas. It’s a time when a lot of fun things happen.
I love to see my family and pet cat watching TV. I like looking at the bright lights on the tree with all the presents unwrapped by the tree. The last thing I love to see after we open presents is the big, juicy turkey laying on a plate by the mashed potatoes.
After we open presents, I hear my family laughing while watching Christmas movies on television. I also hear my cat, Aaron, meowing for a piece of turkey.
I touch really good things after we open presents. I like touching the toys I got and the juicy turkey sitting on the table by the mashed potatoes. I also touch the cold snowflakes when I go outside in the snow.
I smell really tasty things after we open presents like the mints on the gingerbread houses, and the juicy turkey with gravy on it. I also smell the chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven.
I taste wonderful things after we open presents like the yummy sweets and the big turkey on the table beside the mashed potatoes. I also taste the yummy orange soda in glass cups.
I feel so many different things inside. I feel nervous when my sisters open their presents I bought them because I’m scared they won’t like them. I also feel excited when we watch Christmas movies on TV. I feel loved after we open presents because my family cooks, lets us watch TV. and gets us gifts. This is what I like about Christmas.
