Going outside every day is NOT for everyone. Inside recess should be every other day. For one, teachers can watch you more carefully. Second of all, kids get to lunch a lot faster and there’s no rush. Also, if you have work to work on you can do it with the help of teachers.

When it’s inside recess the teachers can watch you more carefully by putting kids in separate rooms by their grade. Each teacher could watch his or her own room. Also, teachers wouldn’t have to run around looking for the kid who screams or gets hurt outside. Teachers also could get time to sit down instead of standing around for twenty minutes.

When it’s outside recess it’s cold and very loud and everybody is hyper, so it takes longer to get to lunch. But when it’s inside recess everyone is quiet for lunch and even if it isn’t quiet, once they say it’s time for lunch, everyone is very quiet. So, children get to lunch faster. It’s faster because children are already inside so they don’t have to get undressed from their outdoor clothes. Also, they are already quiet so they don’t have to settle down first.

If it’s inside recess then teachers can have students do work for them that you missed. If a child has homework and they don’t want to do it at home they could always just do it inside. If a child has any work and they need help, they could just ask. Also, if a child needs help at home and the parent doesn’t know what they’re doing, then it would be good for the child to do it at school.

In the summer it would be good for the teachers so they wouldn’t have to go out into the hot sun. Children also have a less likely chance of having a heat stroke. In the summer if you have inside recess children could have a lot of fun with board games and other stuff. Also, if they brought a summer toy then they could play with that.

If it was inside recess kids could learn more about board games or get to know someone better. Children also have the opportunity to learn new games. Children get more interesting recess games so the teacher could help them understand more about the game or subject.

If it was inside recess children could learn to do different things alone or in a group or even with ten other people, instead of watching T.V. or fighting with one another.

If children get inside recess every other day then it could help the child’s self esteem by having time inside to not do work but to just make friends. It could also enable kids to learn good character traits by making friends. Speaking of making friends, kids will learn social skills too. Also, children could decide on activities that fit all students with different levels of shyness or fitness.

If children are having a bad day, and it’s an inside recess, they can sit down and wind down. Children can even use that time as a time to read AR. Inside recess also helps you think better in class because you had a break and you can get right back to learning.

Some people say outside recess should be every day and inside recess should only be when it is below zero, or raining. Other people also think if you go outside you get lots of fresh air. You could also have a break from all of your work. Also, people think outside recess should be every day because it gives kids a chance to be free and run around with other people. However, inside recess should be every other day because kids can hang out without being really hot or really cold.

Inside recess should be every other day. Teachers would have a closer eye on the children. Children could get more social skills and they also make more friends. Children get to lunch faster. If children have homework, they could work on it inside. Children get the opportunity to learn new games when they have inside recess.
