CARIBOU — On Sunday, April 6, three teens will compete for the crown in the Miss Caribou Pageant.
Vying for the title are Jessika Day Kovach, Victoria Leigh Keaton and Courtney Sheldon.
Kovach, 18, is the daughter of Dennis and Karen Kovach of Woodland. She will sing “Who I Am” by Jessica Andrews during the talent portion of the event.
Keaton, 18, is the daughter of Michael and Susan Keaton of Caribou. She will sing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables during the pageant’s talent portion.
Sheldon, 18, is the daughter of Chip and JayLynn Sheldon of Caribou. During the talent portion, she will accompany herself on piano as she sings “All of Me,” as made popular by John Legend.
Reigning Miss Caribou Hannah Hebert will be sharing her love for dance with the audience, as well as co-hosting the program with Cary Medical Center’s own comedian and entertainer, Betty Walker.
Caribou’s newly crowned queens will also provide entertainment during the pageant. A total of $800 in scholarships will be awarded at the 2 p.m. pageant on Sunday, April 6, at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.
The pageant is co-directed by Bonnie Bouchard and Jan Tompkins.
