Children’s Stage Adventures presented “Androcles and the Lion” at Fort Street Elementary School on Thursday, March 20. Over 75 students participated in the play as actors or assistant directors.
Working with Lead Players Stephanie Figer and Ben Regan, the students worked on the play for only a couple of days before performing.

After The Bell
After The Bell activities include: Wednesday, April 2, Tri Club after school. Tri Club will be doing a swim session at UMPI. Bus leaves after school, returns to Fort Street at 4:30 p.m. Bathing suit/shorts and towel required, goggles and life preservers optional. $10/child, must be a member of the club.
`Wednesday April 9, Tri Club after school. Children will be running, hopefully outside after school until 3:30 p.m. with Coach Amanda.
Plans are being made for activities during April vacation, stay tuned for details. Spring break is scheduled for April 21-25.
More then 80 kids spent their early-release day at the movies with After The Bell viewing “Peabody and Sherman.”
CA Historical Society
The CA Historical Society will be holding a community meeting for members and any townsfolk interested in the history of Blaine, Mars Hill, Robinson, E Plantation and Westfield. This meeting will be held at the W.T.A. Hansen Memorial Library on Monday, April 14, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Come and see what our town library has to offer and have fun reminiscing about its histories!

Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on March 25 at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center.
Special guests were Zach Grass, a junior at CAHS, who qualified to participate in the Regional Ski Meet that followed the State Ski Meet on Feb. 27-28. He received a special donation to help with his expenses.
Other guests included the four candidates for Miss Mars Hill: Courtney Milliard, who will be singing “Let It Go” as her talent; Brittany Baird, who will be drawing a picture in two-and-a-half minutes; Whitnie Bradbury, who will be singing “Who I Am”; and Shannon Skully, who will be performing a lyrical dance. They were accompanied by Directors Mikala Woollard and Janine Stackpole. The pageant will be held on April 5.
BINGO
The William Cousins Post 118 of the American Legion in Mars Hill hosts a Bingo Night every Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Legion building on Silver Street. There will be cash prizes and concessions.
Girl Scouts on call
Local Girl Scouts are looking for ways to answer the needs of the community, both large and small. If you are a non-profit organization and need volunteers to help with your projects, call 425-9020. The troop can help with activities in Blaine, Bridgewater and Mars Hill.
School registration
SAD 42 will be having registration for the 4- and 5-year-old programs for the 2014-15 school year. The registration will be held on Friday, April 11, at the Fort Street School and is open to 4- and 5-year old-children of the Mars Hill, Blaine and Bridgewater area. FMI, call 429-8514 or 429-8515.
