HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Salvation Army Thrift Store, located on 2 Pleasant St., has re-opened its doors after a nearly four-month hiatus. The thrift store was back in business as of Tuesday morning.
The stores offer gently-used clothing, furniture and other goods to the community at bargain prices. Many of the items sold in its stores are donated materials.
According to Envoy Damon Hayward, donations will be accepted at the location, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays. For more information, call 532-2322.
