WOODLAND, Maine — Fire ravaged a Woodland mobile home on the afternoon of April 9 and was deemed a total loss.
According to Caribou Fire Chief Scott Susi, two resided in the home, owned by Mark Prestwood, and it was insured.
“(Prestwood) called in for a fire at his house, in the eves, and when (firefighters) got there it was through the roof,” Susi described. “The trailer roof, light construction, it came right down.”
The tone went out for firefighters around 12:30 p.m. last Wednesday, with Caribou’s firefighters responding to the 330 Thibodeau Road address. Mutual aid was received by Washburn and Presque Isle.
No injuries were reported.
