The Aroostook Amateur Radio Association recently held its election of officers for 2014.
Named to office were, from left, Ivan Shapiro (WK1W) from Fort Fairfield, president; David Deschesne (KB1EBG) from Fort Fairfield, secretary; Bob White (NG1F) from Caribou, treasurer; and Roy Woods (KB1DGW) from Caribou, vice president. The AARA actively supports the amateur (HAM) radio hobby and maintains emergency communication protocol as well as amateur radio license testing for the central Aroostook County area.
