Fundraiser to benefit Hope and Justice Project and Homeless Services of Aroostook

 The University of Maine at Presque Isle will be hosting a 5K fun run/walk on Sunday, May 4, from 1-5 p.m., starting at Gentile Hall.
All proceeds from the event will be divided evenly between Hope and Justice Project and Homeless Services of Aroostook.
The first 200 registered participants will receive an event T-shirt and the first 300 registered participants will receive a pedometer.
There will be prizes for top fundraisers and the teams with the most participants. There will also be drawings for raffle prizes. The cost is $15 per person and children under 12 are free.

UMPI/Community Band presents a spring concert
The University of Maine at Presque Isle/Community Band Spring Concert will be held on Monday, May 5, at 7 p.m. in Wieden Auditorium.
Under the baton of Jon Simonoff, the band will offer a variety of music including classic band literature, settings of choral music for concert band, marches, as well as more contemporary works.
