The Caribou Business and Professional Women’s Organization is announcing three scholarship opportunities, which will be awarded in June.
Any Caribou High School senior, entering an accredited college, may apply for the Viola Willard High School Scholarship. The late Viola Willard was a retired educator who was a longtime member of Caribou BPW and served as the state BPW president in 1977-78.
Area college students entering their junior year may apply for the Caribou BPW Interim Scholarship.
An area woman who is at least 25 years old and is a first-time entrant to an institution of higher learning may apply for the Caribou Non-Traditional Scholarship.
Qualification information and application forms for these scholarships are available at Caribou High School and local colleges.
Completed applications are to be mailed to Caribou BPW, P.O. Box 412, Caribou ME 04736, and must be received by May 23, 2014.
