HOULTON – Ernest R. Suitter, Sr., 66, passed away April 21, 2014, at a local healthcare facility. He was born June 4, 1947, at Carroll Plantation, the son of Henry and Nettie (Hatfield) Suitter.
Ernest is survived by two sons, Lee R. Suitter and Ernest R. Suitter, Jr. both of Houlton; his daughter, Nellie Briggs and her husband, Roger of Linneus; four grandchildren, Katie Suitter, Jacob Suitter, Samantha Boyce and Danielle Davenport; one great-grandson, Braden Davenport; two brothers, Wendell Suitter and his wife Virginia, Henry Suitter; six sisters, Helen Cole, Evelyn Suitter, Betty Jones, Ruby Mooers and her husband, Harry, Mary Johnson and her husband, Bert, Elsie Seavey and her husband, Lyle; sister-in-law, Evelyn Suitter; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Leland, and Wilbur Suitter and his sister, Viola.
