Ross Prescott Vincent, 59, of Austin, Texas, died at home on Sunday, April 20, 2014, after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was born on August 30, 1954, in Milo, Maine to parents John and Madolyn Vincent, soon moving to Houlton, Maine where he spent the majority of his childhood and early adult life.
He was a dedicated father and husband, entrepreneur and craftsman who enjoyed many things including animals, photography, fast cars and bourbon. His time was devoted to his kids as well as his endeavors, including the family olive farm in Blanco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Rogers Vincent; children, Kellan Vincent and Aaron John Vincent; daughter-in-law, Rebekah Vincent; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
A mem-orial service will be held to celebrate Ross’s life on Friday, May 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Smith Family Chapel, Riverbend Church, 4214 Capital of Texas Highway, in Austin, Texas.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Punit Chadha, Hospice Austin and Cat & Joe Yuracka for the special care and love that they gave Ross through his long battle. All of you are amazing.
