Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, May 9 meeting. Leader Diane Folsom led the meeting.
Sixteen people were weighed; three of these were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). Loser of the week was the “challenger” with Marsha Reed as runner-up.
Millie Gagnon won the skinny dish, while Marsha Reed was the winner of the 50/50 raffle. Marsha, contest person, reported the contest is going nicely with two more weeks. Betty Wyman was the speaker for the program relating to diets as a honeymoon, first the honeymoon, next stage is honeymoon is over and the third stage is let us make it work.
