Lions Club auction update

The Mapleton Lions Club auction was a success this year. The club wishes to thank all who made donations to the event. Without your donations, the auction would not be possible. Also, the donors who made cash donations have the club’s special thanks.
Because of the auction’s success, Mapleton Lions will be able to continue making the Lions Hall available for charitable purposes such as the Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp, Project Graduation, Mapleton Lions Club college scholarships, Mapleton Boy and Girl Scouts, and special fundraising for cancer and serious illness victims.
The Mapleton summer recreation program is an important program the club is able to support as a result of a successful auction. Mapleton Lions Hall rental rates are kept at an affordable price for those special family and community events. Mapleton Daze is given the use of the hall at no charge. The Mapleton Lions do appreciate the help of every donor and every buyer that participated in this 52nd Mapleton Lions Club auction.
