Easton High School holds Athletic Awards Night

    Easton Jr/SrHigh School held its annual Athletic Awards Night on Tuesday, April 29, in the Easton Elementary School cafeteria. The evening began with the awards ceremony and concluded with everyone in attendance enjoying a brownie a-la-mode. Varsity Club Advisor Leslie Carlow along with Athletic Director Steve Shaw served as mistress and master of ceremonies for the event.
Coach Leslie Carlow presented certificates to the following junior high girls’ soccer players: Matigan Dow, Alexis Hayes, Isabelle Morin, Ashley Cowley, Delia Bonner, Paige Flewelling, Cecelia Ferris, Cecilia Morin, Lydia Ferris, Delaney Leach and Allisa Hatt. Emily Thompson was presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Coach Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the girls’ Junior Varsity Basketball Team. Those members include: Abigail Currier, Caitlin Monroe, Emma Bonner, Madison Shaw, Sara Gilman, Breann Clayton, Madison Leach and Blake Bradley.
Coach Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the following junior high girls’ basketball team members:  Delaney Leach, Emily Thompson, Isabelle Morin, Delia Bonner, Lydia Ferris, Cecelia Ferris, Cecilia Morin, Paige Flewelling and Autumn Gray. Olivia Lamoreau was presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Coach Travis Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys’ soccer players: Isaac Currier, Carson Flewelling, Kooper Kinney, Hunter Dudley, Camden Michaud, Kyle Flewelling, Ryan West, Austin Carver, Matthew Pangburn, Keagan Kinney, Kody Carter, Mitchell Flewelling, Collin Sotomayor, Matthew Poole and Noah Hanscomb. Shelliese Mullen was presented with a certificate for managing.
Coach Travis Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys’ basketball players: Collin Sotomayor, Noah Hanscomb, John Anderson, Matthew Poole, Keagan Kinney, Brandon Dickinson, Carson Flewelling, Isaac Currier, Hunter Dudley, KirtasJandreau, Kooper Kinney, Matthew Pangburn and Ryan West. Manager Shelliese Mullen was also received a certificate.
Varsity Cheerleading Coach Leslie Carlow presented bars to the following cheerleaders: Katelyn Tompkins, Kelsey Frank, Kristen West, Kerrigan Arnett and Ian Mclean. A pin was presented to Haley Ambrose, Toria Tarbox, Kelsey Frank, Kristen West, Kerrigan Arnett, Acacia Kimball and Ian McLean. Macey Currier and Kathleen Haney received a letter.
Coach Robert Doar awarded Bars to the following Varsity girls’ basketball players: Kylee Carter and Hannah Ferris. Pins were presented to: Cassandra Buck, Mariah Cyr, Stephanie Hammond and Alexandra Allen.  Letters were given to: Stephanie Hammond, Nichole Dudley, Ashley Hersey, Kalie Ward, Elise Allen and Sara Gilman. Certificates were presented to: Madison Leach, Madison Shaw, Emma Bonner and Blake Bradley. Managers Taylor Brown and Abigail Thompson also received letters.
Coach Rachel Tomlinson presented the girls’ Varsity Soccer Awards. A bar was given to: Cassandra Buck, Stephanie Hammond, Kylee Carter and Kristen West. Hannah Ferris, Kelsey Frank, Kerrigan Arnett, Alexandra Allen and Blake Bradley received pins. A Letter was awarded to: Nichole Dudley, Ashley Hersey, Abigail Currier, Elise Allen and Sara Gilman. Certificates were presented to: Taylor Brown, Madison Shaw, Madison Leach, Emma Bonner, Isabelle Morin, Cecelia Ferris and Paige Flewelling. Abigail Thompson received a manager’s pin.
Coach Rachel Tomlinson presented certificates to the following girls’ volleyball players: Elise Allen, Sara Gilman, Abigail Currier, Emma Bonner, Blake Bradley, Taylor Brown, Alexandra Allen, Kelsey Frank, Hannah Ferris, Kerrigan Arnett, Kylee Carter, Ashley Hersey, Nichole Dudley, Cassandra Buck, Mariah Cyr, Madison Shaw, Madison Leach and Kalie Ward.
Also receiving certificates were the following boys’ volleyball players, presented by Coach Brent Mosher: Ian Sotomayor, Colby Pangburn, Hunter Turner, Connor Burtt, Nicholas Clark, Cody Halvorson, Brian Corbin, Logan Dickinson, Zachary Lamoreau, Logan Halvorson, Drew Sotomayor, Trevor Hathaway, Brandon Hosford, Shawn Doody, Jordan Doody and Hunter Brown.
Coach Ryan Shaw presented awards to the Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team. Bars were presented to Colby Pangburn, Ian Sotomayor, Hunter Turner, Nicholas Clark, Logan Dickinson, Connor Burtt and Cody Halvorson. Cameron Young received a letter and a pin. Logan Halvorson and Drew Sotomayor received a pin. Letters were presented to Trevor Hathaway, Jason Gurley, Jordan Doody, Jacob Flewelling and Hunter Brown.  Certificates were presented to Collin Sotomayor and Ryan West. Manager Katelyn Tompkins received a manager’s pin and Haley Ambrose received a Letter.
Coach Dillon Kingsbury presented the following boys’ Varsity Basketball awards: a bar was presented to Hunter Turner;  Ian Sotomayor, Colby Pangburn and Cameron Young received letters and pins; Cody Halvorson, Connor Burtt and Logan Halvorson all received a pin; Nicholas Clark, Drew Sotomayor and Jacob Flewelling all received letters; amd  a certificate was presented to Hunter Brown.
Coach Danny Warren presented certificates to the following Junior Varsity Boys’ Basketball players: Trevor Hathaway, Hunter Brown, Jason Gurley, Cameron Young, Zachary Lamoreau and Brandon Quimby.
Steve Shaw recognized the following students for receiving special distinctions: All-Aroostook Class D Boys’ Soccer — Cody Halvorson, Logan Halvorson, Drew Sotomayor, Ian Sotomayor and Hunter Turner.
