Greater Houlton Christian Academy names honor parts

John Bishop, head of school for Greater Houlton Christian Academy, announced the honor parts for the graduating Class of 2014.

Ashley G. Kelley

    Ashley G. Kelley, valedictorian, is the daughter of Bob and Connie Kelley of Houlton. She merited ACSI Distinguished Christian High School Student for two years and has been the recipient of various other academic achievements.

    Kelley attends the Littleton United Baptist Church and is actively involved in area youth activities. She spends her summers working at Living Waters Bible Camp as a counselor. She will be attending New Brunswick Bible Institute where she will pursue a degree in theology.

    Alex Angotti, son of Daniel and Julie Angotti of Ludlow, has been named the salutatorian of the Class of 2014. He is a member of the National Honor Society. Angotti has received several academic and character awards including the Christian character award. For his consistent hard work he has received awards in multiple subjects from the President’s Education Program.

    Athletically, Angotti has been a member of the cross country team and participated in intramural volleyball. He attends the Westfield Baptist Church where he is actively involved in youth activities and assists with technology needs.

    With a passion for technology, Angotti will pursue a degree in computer information systems through the University of Maine at Augusta.
